How the game works
- Prices are end-of-day prices from IEX (last trade on IEX), published the next working day. Your order waits for the next close after you place it, so nobody can trade on a price they already know.
- The score is your return divided by the biggest fall your portfolio had from a previous high (counted as at least 5%). Two players with the same return: the one with the smoother ride scores higher. It rewards steadiness, not lucky all-in bets.
- No real money, no prizes. Nothing here is advice or a tip, and play-money results say nothing about how real investing would go.
